Vintage-Inspired x Lucite: Acrylic, invented in the early 1930’s by Dupont, was originally manufactured for military aircraft windshields. It’s clear and transparent, water and UV resistant, low density and durability, made acrylic a leading choice in materials.

Lucite, patented in 1941 by American costume jeweler Joseph H. Meyer Bros., was a form of acrylic used in jewelry and accessory production.
